Simon Ratcliffe

With international qualifications and studio experience spanning the UK, USA and a host of African & EU countries over the last 2 decades, Simon’s portfolio includes film co-productions, music and film score mixing. A multi-award winning engineer, his specialisation in Score Engineering and Final Mix is well supported by his training with Alan Meyerson (Hans Zimmer/James Newton Howard), Shawn Murphy (John Williams/John Powell) and with Dolby Labs on the new Atmos® standard. Simon, who founded the multi-national Sound & Motion Studios in 2002, is also an author, musician, oenophile and audio director of the South African Film Orchestra.
