Simon Ratcliffe

Simon is a score mixer and producer, film co-producer, and MD at Sound & Motion which he founded in 2002. A music and film background led to his specialisation in score mixing and supervision, and he has worked on a wide array of award winning international films, games, TV and streaming shows in the UK, US, Europe and Africa. With a 2 decades background in academia and a specialisation and masters degree in Dolby Atmos, his research includes the Echo Project focus group on immersive score recording, and lectures at a variety of institutions including Tonmeister, UCL (London) and UvA (Amsterdam.) Simon plays a bizarre array of traditional wind instruments, is an author and oenophile.
